Factory 2ND has small mark on neck that has been professionally sanded and a few small scratches on the top where the lamp connects. It also doesn't include the blub. See close-up pictures for details, full lamp shots are of another lamp, i.e. you can't see the mark on the zoomed-out pictures.

A European icon piece for any Australian home.

Inspired by the 1970s Danish by Mads Caprani design. It has a beautifully hand made curved bentwood stem, pleated lampshade and a sturdy cast iron base. 

Lampshade colour

The shade is a light cream colour. It does look whiter in some images, but this is due to the light it was shot in.

Construction

The Elmwood stem, shade and cast iron base of our lamps are handmade in small batches in our workshop, and unlike other replicas, the spine is curved laminated elmwood.

Many replicas stems are cut from cheap wood, rather than Elmwood bent by hand in our workshop, helping give it an elegant finish.

The original was designed in Denmark in the early 1970s by Mad Caprani for Caprani AS; it became an instant classic around the world.

Assembly 
The lamp comes in two boxes. This is to protect the lamp shade from the cast iron base. It means there is a little bit of assembly to be done, but usually only takes 10 minutes. Detailed instructions are here.
